How TO Register?
For new families:
This year, we will again be using KidCheck for camp registration. Many of you are already familiar with KidCheck from last year's day camp. By using KidCheck for registration as well, we’ll be able to streamline and simplify important aspects like camper health and safety, communication with families, and administrative coordination.
If this is your first time registering for Day Camp, you will need to create a KidCheck account first. In the box that asks "Where will you use KidCheck?" type/select Crossroads Christian Youth Center, Big Rock, IL. There are quite a few "Crossroads" listed in the dropdown. After you have created an account, you will be able to register for the week{s) your child will attend.
Then proceed to the section about registration at the bottom.
For returning families:
If you already have a KidCheck account, please log in and make sure your family information is up to date—especially your email address and phone number, as these will be used for communication and for check-in/check-out.
You’ll also want to review and update your list of guardians—these are the people you authorize to check your child in or out of camp (e.g., grandparents, older siblings, or carpool partners).
If you already have an account from last year, please try to use that one! If you’ve forgotten your password, there are options to recover it, and you can also call KidCheck directly at (208) 538-2000 for help recovering your account.

Our Priorties
Gospel
Each day at the beginning of camp, campers are given the opportunity to listen to the life giving message of Jesus Christ and its significance for each of us. Our aim is for every camper to encounter the gospel three times daily throughout their time at camp, whether it's through our guest speaker, camp counselors, tribe times, or games. We strive for the campers to enjoy God's creation and form lasting friendships with their fellow campers. It is our utmost priority that every camper is exposed to the gospel and the hope it carries.
Devotions
After lunch, the atmosphere at the camp becomes even more enriching as each tribe of campers and their dedicated camp counselors gather around to listen to one of their counselors impart a powerful and meaningful Bible story. The storyteller delves into the details of the narrative, unraveling what this meant to the original audience, how it points to Christ, and how to live in light of its timeless wisdom. This cherished gathering not only deepens the campers' understanding of the Bible, but also fosters a personal relationship with Jesus.

To ensure your child's safety, we put in dedicated efforts to create an environment where everyone feels welcomed, channeling our energy towards ensuring that playing and learning are enjoyable experiences. Through our engaging songs, games, and crafts, your child will leave camp each day brimming with excitement!
